1¡¢ Use of zinc strip
Because the pipeline in the casing is shielded by the cement casing, and the cathodic protection current is shielded, the pipeline in the casing can not be protected. Therefore, it is the most economical and reasonable method to install strip zinc alloy anode at the crossing point.
2¡¢ Installation method
According to the theoretical calculation, the length of the zinc strip required at the crossing place is 4 times that of the protected pipeline, that is, 4 m zinc strip is required to protect the pipeline at 1 m crossing place. During the installation, the zinc belt shall be sheathed on the pipeline, one end of the zinc strip shall be welded on the protected pipe (the welding point shall be one meter away from the cement casing hole to facilitate the casing plugging), and the zinc belt shall be wound on the pipeline. After winding, the zinc belt shall be fixed with the fastening belt, and the other end of the zinc belt shall also be welded to the pipeline. After welding, the anticorrosion treatment shall be carried out.
