¢Û Cables with oxidized surface can be cleaned with a copper wire brush.

¢Ü Water containing cables should be dried with blowtorch, and then the oxide layer should be removed by steel brush. If the cables with water and oil are directly welded, the liquid copper may be ejected from the mold during the reaction, which is very dangerous and requires special attention of operators.

¢Ý The open cable head can not close the mold, resulting in a large gap, resulting in the leakage of liquid copper. Therefore, when cutting the cable, pay attention to ensure the smoothness of the incision. Copper wire or twisted cloth can be used to fix the cutting position before cutting.

¢Þ If the cable with tension is welded, the cable can be used for fixing and clamping.

Preparation and essentials of grounding rod welding:

¢Ù The end of the grounding rod will be deformed after being hit by a hammer. It must be cut off or ground before it can be put into the mold. Otherwise, the mold will not be closed tightly and the liquid copper will leak. Steel inlay sleeve can also be used to protect the end before hammering.

¢Ú The end of grounding rod with screw hole or groove at the end shall be cut off before welding.

¢Û The grounding rod connection should be kept clean, such as rust, oxide skin, etc. it must be cleaned with steel brush or sandpaper before welding, otherwise porous solder joints will appear.

¢Ü When the diameter of the rod is smaller than the hole of the mold, the steel strip can be used to wrap the connector of the grounding rod to make up for it.

Preparation and essentials for surface welding of copper plate, steel plate and cast iron:

¢Ù Before welding, clean the connection surface to remove water, oil, stain, etc.

¢Ú The surface with attachments should be cleaned with grinding wheel, coarse file and other tools.

¢Û The surface of galvanized steel plate welding point should be removed before welding.

¢Ù The rust on the surface of the rail welding part needs to be completely removed, and the special grinding wheel for cathodic protection can be used for polishing.

¢Ú If there is grease and moisture on the rail, it should be removed first and then rust.

¢Û If there are convex marks on the rail surface, it is better to grind them flat.
