Common sense of aluminum anodizing process

With the continuous development of economy, the actual demand for aluminum anode in the industry is increasing, and its performance is very prominent, so it is very popular. In the field of production, aluminum anode has the characteristics of corrosion resistance, and is gradually used more and more widely.

There are two kinds of anodizing methods for aluminum parts and aluminum alloys

¢Ù Chemical anodizing: the anodic oxide film is thin, about 0.5-4 ¦Ì m in thickness. It is porous, soft and has good adsorption. It can be used as the bottom layer of organic coating, but its wear resistance and corrosion resistance are not as good as that of anodic oxidation film;

¢Ú The thickness of anodic oxide film is about 5-20 ¦Ì m (the thickness of hard oxide film can reach 60-200 ¦Ì m), which has high hardness, good heat resistance and insulation, higher corrosion resistance than chemical oxidation film, porous, and good adsorption capacity.

Chemical anodizing of aluminum and aluminum alloy is simple, easy to operate, high production efficiency, no power consumption, wide range of application, not limited by the size and shape of aluminum parts. According to the solution properties, chemical anodizing of aluminum and its alloys can be divided into two categories: alkaline oxidation and acid oxidation.

It can be divided into oxide film, phosphate film, chromate film and chromate phosphate film.

Note:

¢Ù Formula 1 and 2 are suitable for chemical anodizing of pure aluminum, aluminum magnesium alloy, aluminum manganese alloy and aluminum silicon alloy. The color of the film is golden yellow, but the color of anodic oxide film on the latter two alloys is darker. The film obtained in alkaline oxidation solution is soft, with poor corrosion resistance, high porosity and good adsorption, which is suitable for coating bottom.

¢Ú It can be used as a protective layer for anodic oxidation of aluminum with high content of sodium and 3% sodium.

¢Û In order to improve the corrosion resistance of aluminum parts after anodizing, it can be passivated in 20g / L CrO3 solution at room temperature for 5-15s, and then dried at a temperature lower than 50 ¡æ.
