It shall be cleaned, degreased and pickled just like oxidation. The specific pretreatment steps of magnesium and magnesium alloy plating are as follows: chemical degreasing - cold water cleaning - acid washing - activation treatment - cold water washing - etching - cold water washing - flash copper plating, copper pre plating - cold water washing - deionized water washing - pre nickel plating - cold water washing - deionized water washing - electroless nickel plating - cold water washing - drying. The purpose of pickling is to remove the natural oxide film on the surface of metal. The pickling of magnesium has its own requirements.
