The quality of cooling water flowing in condenser directly affects the corrosion degree of copper tube and tube sheet. For Northern power plants, on the one hand, due to the increasingly serious water pollution, on the other hand, due to the circulating use of cooling water, the salt content is relatively high, so the corrosion tendency and corrosion degree are relatively large.

Cathodic protection technology can effectively, economically and economically control and slow down the corrosion of condenser. According to the different ways of external cathodic current supply, cathodic protection methods can be divided into sacrificial anode method and external current method. In the fresh water with low conductivity, due to the low driving voltage of sacrificial anode, the output current is limited and can not be adjusted, and the protection range is limited. During installation, a large number of fixed sacrificial anode mounting brackets must be welded on the inner wall of the water chamber, and the design life of the sacrificial anode block is generally not more than 3 years, which needs to be replaced regularly.

Another method of using coating to prevent the tube sheet corrosion is to use the coating. Due to the performance of the coating and the construction technology, serious problems often occur when coating is used to prevent the corrosion of condenser tube sheet. This kind of corrosion form of large cathode and small anode is the most dangerous corrosion among all kinds of corrosion forms. It can form deep hole in a short time, which makes the corrosion and damage of condenser tube sheet more serious.
